The Foundation Stage teachers and children very kindly let us use their playhouse that were set up as a stable, carpenters workshop, Kings castle and Inn.
We retold the Nativity story.
We were able to use what we had learnt about the Nativity story whilst playing.
There were lots of outfits to choose from and we enjoyed dressing up.
When we returned to the classroom we sequenced pictures from the story and wrote about what was happening in each picture. The role play really improved our writing.
