Mastery Maths
Today we have been using shape and pattern together. We look at patterns with different shapes, sizes and colours.
The children have made clay pots and tiles.
They carefully moulded the clay into their chosen shape.
Once the children had added their design and the clay had dried they painted the clay making sure it was all covered evenly.
The clay looks really effective.
IT’S CHRISTMAS!
Mrs Wrights class now have a wonderful Christmas writing area! The children were so excited when they arrived in class! As an activation, Santa emailed a Christmas message! He’s asked the children to write to him to tell him why they deserve a Christmas present! He’s told them not to forget their targets! We are so excited about the wonderful letters that the children will write and post in the special post box! We are hoping that Santa replies!

This week in Year 1 we have started looking at shapes. The children have been learning about the properties of shapes and how they could groups and sort them in different ways.
