This term the children have been exploring different ways of making marks. They looked at the work of artists and then experimented with different tools and methods. As an activation, the children went outside to explore the pendulum method. They loved watching the paint pour out of the cup as it swung.

They used pipettes to drop paint onto paper and then used a straw to blow the paint across the paper. They were very effective.
