Spellings –
Faster, tallest, colder, stronger, weakest, lightest
Our new spellings will be tested on Friday 4th May 2018.
Phonics
We are continuing to consolidate the children’s knowledge of phase 3 and 5 sounds, focussing on blending sounds to read words and segmenting words to spell. We will also be working on comprehension skills, so the children are able to comprehend and discuss what they have read.
Maths
Next week we are going to begin looking at division through sharing. We will be focussing on finding the answer using concrete and pictorial representations and solving division word problems.
