Maths –

Solve subtraction calculations using numbers to 10 by counting on and back from a given number.

Challenge – create a word problem using subtraction, eg I have 10 biscuits and my brother ate 2. How many are left?

Reading –

Build fluency in reading by modelling to your child how to read a sentence so that it flows. This will support them with their ability to understand what they have read so talk to them about what they are reading and what they have found out.
